Highlights
- Pair your NAS to your HippieTV account via device-code (same flow as TV and Mobile).
- Manual and scheduled recordings from the NAS, Desktop, or Mobile.
- Direct device-to-device LAN push — schedules show up on the NAS within ~100 ms.
- “Device” tab: real-time health, storage management (disks + migration).
- Blank-disk assistant: prepare and mount a USB stick or SSD through a copy-paste SSH script.
Installation
See hippietv.app/download and follow the install guide for your specific NAS (Synology, QNAP, UGREEN, Raspberry Pi…).
Upgrade
If you already have an earlier version installed:
cd /path/to/compose/folder
docker compose pull
docker compose up -d --force-recreate
Your scheduled recordings and history are preserved.
Compatibility
- Architectures:
linux/amd64,linux/arm64. - NAS tested in beta: Raspberry Pi 4 (2 GB), Synology DS923+ (in progress).
- Required plans: Pro or Family.
